I have so many negative thoughts running through my head. I need some how to shift gears. Six good things can happen and all I think about is one bad thing that happened.
Do you like to journal? I suggest making a "Gratitude Journal". List 3 good things that happen each day. (or any number you choose). Do it daily. One journal with only things you are thankful for. It could be a kiss. It can be your son. Your jeep. Whatever. Then when you start to have a negative thought pull out the journal and reread all the positive stuff in your life. This is not my orginal idea....can't remember the name of the book that I got it from, but it might help you shift gears.
