Hope your 4th celebrations went/are going well. It is important we create new memories for holidays and I'm working on mine as well. Yesterday I was thinking of last year's celebration at the house of one of my son's classmates and that was a blast. Sadly, the father of that classmate is the one who left his wife for another woman ARGH! So even yesterday the 4th was dampened a bit as I thought of that family.
It was a great time with my son though, we did the kinds of things a father and son would do Daughter was with her friends but I understand.
As always, more later, I am off to meet with my men's group (I'm late ) and then I'll get my son so we can play some basketball. Plans for the beach this evening with some friends from church or a coworker's anniversary party with dancing to 70's & 80's music. Tough decision...
