Well, W, S13, S10, and I went to see fireworks, or tried!
We got to our vantage point about 10 minutes before they were scheduled to start, and waited, and waited. We started to leave, but called S18, who checked online, and found that they had been delayed to 9:35, so we waited some more. At about 9:45 we heard on the radio that they were supposed to start in 15 minutes. W has to work tomorrow, and be out of the house by 6:15. At that point we were looking at getting home at 11:30 or so, which wasn't going to work, so we left. They started at 9:50, and we saw some from the car as we drove. They had been delayed by a storm that went through before we got down there. We did see, from a distance, a lot of other displays around town, so that was kind of neat.
Still debating writing on the mirror tonight. Heard W tell kids that they are supposed to clean the bathroom tomorrow, but not the mirror. But she hasn't said a word about it. Hmmm...
