Julia, it is HILARIOUS that you are asking me for recipes b/c I used to post them on my site all the time. I have a pretty awesome chocolate toffee cookie recipe, or the always-classic chocolate chip. Which one do you want, darlin, or shall i post both??? I welcome your thought on the text. I decided to wait a little longer... the 4th of july was actually a turning point for us early in the R so I thought I would let it go by instead of sending a text on a sort of anniversary type day, but I am probably OVERTHINKING!!!! Also, do you have american measuring cups? if not I have some muffin recipes that are on the cookie-ish side (chocolate chip ricotta for example) that are already translated into grams.

Update... yesterday I went to yoga class and did sundial pose. wow!! It felt totally awesome!! I had no idea I could do something like that... I know Jeff teases me about being a man in jail who likes muffins, do not worry, the picture is NOT of me, just the best picture I could find online of someone doing sundial pose!
My teacher is all about core strength right now... it actually makes me angry sometimes because all these poses I thought I "knew how to do", well, it turns out you can really CRANK UP the difficulty level when you start engaging your core strength. Oh, the feeling of incompetence in the face of a new challenge!!
Otherwise... feeling kinda lonely. I have just been taking care of stuff here in ATL... cleaning, setting up appts with new tutoring students, trying not to melt in the heat. B is on my mind way more than usual, and somewhere inside I feel like we are back together ???!!! I do not know if this is total delusion, classic freudian wish fulfillment, some kind of intuition of where he's at, me clinging to the past, whatever, I have no idea. Last summer at this same time he asked for a month of NC and came back at the end and told me ILY and we had a huge breakthrough... maybe somewhere deep inside I want that to happen again. Has anyone else had this strange sensation while DBing??

BA, thank you for checking in on me !!!! as always!!!! WOW, you lost 40 pounds???!!!! that is SO awesome!!! how did you do it?? I gained 30 when I moved to ATL... I think a combination of not biking, being stressed from grad school, and not ML on a regular basis!!!!! I lost 10 pounds already, I think just from working out and better nutrition and trying to detox and let go of clogged emotions... I wanna know what you did!!!

The frozen berries have been sitting in the freezer since the time you posted your ricotta and berry muffin recipe - but I couldnt find the page with your recipe, so I just had to use the recipe I had, but they turned out good enough!
Being a pancake girl, I'm not really feeling any sympathy for you and Lisa and Kalni being melon girls. I think its difficult for most body shapes to find good swimwear (I'm all about the padding!) Ha ha!!

The toffee biscuits sound great but I'm wondering if I'd be able to handle it with the complication of the toffee so could you post both? Oh, I don't have 'cups' but I think I can convert it on the internet.
Here is the toffee cookie recipe! They are AMAZING, SO GOOD! not complicated, you just have to chop up the toffee.
Note: don't overcook them, they are more delicious on the soft side! Also, they tend to go stale in a few days, so eat them in a couple days or ask friends to help you

1/2 cup all purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 pound bittersweet (not unsweetened) or semisweet chocolate, chopped 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) unsalted butter 13/4 cups (packed) brown sugar 4 large eggs 1 tablespoon vanilla extract 5 1.4-ounce chocolate-covered English toffee bars (such as Heath), coarsely chopped 1 cup walnuts, toasted, chopped
Combine flour, baking powder and salt in small bowl; whisk to blend. Stir chocolate and butter in top of double boiler set over simmering water until melted and smooth. Remove from over water. Cool mixture to lukewarm. Using electric mixer, beat sugar and eggs in bowl until thick, about 5 minutes. Beat in chocolate mixture and vanilla. Stir in flour mixture, then toffee and nuts. Chill batter until firm, about 45 minutes. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line 2 large baking sheets with parchment or waxed paper. Drop batter by 1/4 cupfuls onto sheets, spacing 2 1/2 inches apart. Bake just until tops are dry and cracked but cookies are still soft to touch, about 15 minutes. Cool on sheets. (Can be made 2 days ahead. Store airtight at room temperature.)
The real, the original, the authentic Nestle Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks, 1/2 pound) butter, softened [some recommend completely melting it so it dissolves the sugar better]
3/4 cup granulated [white] sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract [BUT I USE ONE TABLESPOON, tripling the amount makes a better cookie]
2 eggs
2 cups (12-ounce package) NESTLE TOLL HOUSE Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels [or any other semi sweet chocolate chips]
1 cup chopped nuts
COMBINE flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla in large mixer bowl. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition; gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
BAKE in preheated 375-degree [Fahrenheit] oven for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
Loverly Essie!!! Wow, what kind of berry muffins did you make? if you want I'd be happy to repost the cherry vanilla ricotta muffin recipe for you. I think I posted it a couple threads back... and I used to link my threads but stopped for some reason. I think pancakes and melons are EQUALLY delicious!!! I have learned so much from you too, lady, don't you forget it!!

Julia, thank you for your encouraging words! I can't belive you tried headstand??!! That is awesome!!!! Inversions are so scary, it took me many months to do headstand, with supervision and everything! There is actually a special sanskrit word for the fear... like fear of being SO FREE that your identity would dissolve and you would just evaporate! But inversions are really emotional too... it is usually an emotional, not a physical, issue, to be able to get up into headstand or handstand! So way to go, girl!! The "sundial" was actually easier to get into than i thought, there's just a little trick to it!
