With regards to cups I have liquid 'cups' on my measuring jug but nothing on weights. I can convert though so don't worry! Thank you so much! I can try out all the recipes and have a week of baking. My work mates would love that!
With regards to the notes, you are doing it to make your wife feel special so if you write for the kids as well it'll take that away (although it would be really nice to write them a note!) Maybe later on in the trial? Also I was thinking, that maybe you shouldn't write one tomorrow but leave that one to 'soak in' as it were. Let her absorb it and then surprise her with another.
