So many great ideas! That's what I love about this place! I was too close to the forest to see the trees, so to speak!
I really like cookie's idea of a smiley on the mirror. I could easily do it after she's in bed, and she would see it in the morning. On a day she works she'd be under no pressure to respond at all, since she's the only one up that early.
Then, I could graduate to a "Have a good day!" note left on the seat of her car, or something like that.

I can make a lot of ASSumptions about how she'll react, but I am going to bury those for the time being.
