I think, that most places I have read about, being "seperated" in the same house is NOT living apart.
I agree. And she had you served while she was standing right there? What? Can't say I've ever heard a story like this. You handled it very well.
Honestly, I think living on her own might be a good reality check for your W. Hopefully she can't go all the way through with a D without ever leaving your house...
Close, SIL asked me to come downstairs to the kitchen... W was upstairs with SIL BF.. remember i snooped, i knew it was coming.. as SIL chickened out, i asked one last time "anything else ?"..
went upstairs and watched tv for a short time, and then thanked SIL and BF for coming for dinner, and politely left.
i agree i think living on her own might be a good reality check.. i got my copy of DR today.. and in chapter 1 : family/friend influence..i know there is ALOT.. but my W is strong and will hopefully make up her own mind.. i think it's alot about saving face for her now that she sees i've changed..(i know it has to be long term).. but now that she has made a drama out of it..
