The kids liked Kung Foo Panda, I haven't seen it. I want to see Wall-E. Well I went to the movies by myself, only the second time in my life. The first was when I was a Flight Attendant. I was in Fort Myers, FL and no one else wanted to go and my schedule was crazy so I just did it.

Today it was a babystep. I didn't melt or anything so I suppose I could do it again sometime. I cut it really close so I wouldn't be sitting around with no one to talk to. I do think movies though are much better when you are with someone else. I went and watched Patrick Dempsey...oh I mean Made to Order. It was ok, I didn't mind watching him for almost 2 hours!

Now I will have to find a way to ease into more people doing things together.

Don't cut it close. Bring a book or magazine next time, then have any choice of seat when you arrive!! \:\)

Sara, I thought Kung Fu Panda was pretty good but you know mentally I'm a 10 year old! \:\) D8 and S14 liked it too. I would say it's not as good as Shrek though (loved those) but I think it was a little better than Cars. But I liked Cars also (I love all the Pixar films). The amazing thing to me was I'm watching the movie and I'm thinking is that Dustin Hoffman? and sure enough he voices one of the characters, Jackie Chan, Angelina Jolie, etc.

H bought a lot more fireworks for the kids, mostly for when they celebrate on Saturday night. Didn't say boo to me. But he straightened up a little and cleaned up in the kitchen. What the...?? When is this going to stop bothering me??

I just found out we are closing earlier than I thought tomorrow. First thought is to do something with the kids, then I think I am spending all day Friday with them, maybe I should do something for me. I don't know since I will have Saturday and Sunday without kids for the most part.

Anybody have any good ideas?

Go work out or do some window shopping somewhere. Go walking through the mall. Get your hair done. Go get a pedicure. Find a $40 massage place. Go work out. Go to the library. Go to a music store and listen to some cd's. Call up a girlfriend and visit. Get some people together for after work and go to a bar and grill. Go to a photo store, have them blow up a photo of H's face to put on a dart board. Go dye your hair a different color. Go try on a bunch of expensive clothes. Go try on some expensive shoes. Go wander through a book store. Visit a thrift store. Put on something sexy and walk by a construction site.

Just to name a few \:\)

Ok, just kidding about the construction site.

Go anywhere alone and form your own opinions about the things you see. Talk to the people you encounter for more than 30 secs. Smile.

Boy, you are pushing me to be brave too. You are asking for more than a babystep! I'll have to see what I can do. ;\)

Try the construction site thing. Then you will have accomplished a couple of the items from each post. Dressing sexy and the construction site and then going somewhere by yourself and forming opinions on what you see and you could talk to a construction guy(s) for more than 30 seconds. Just a thought. Congrats for going to the movies by yourself, thats great.

PS: Wall-E is cute, but its a love story and even though its just a kids movie, there were moments that were hard for me to watch because it just made me sad. The robots get it, why don't our WAS?
