Lol, I probably should take my own advice.

You guys are having a lot of good interactions. I am sure that is making her think twice. Just be patient while she works through all of this.

Patience has never been in my vocabulary.. until recently.. just picked up DR.. can't wait to read it..

I'd be careful about the cousin thing. Anything you say may get straight back to her even if she says she won't tell. Blood is thicker.

Read DR. I'm glad you got it. I agree with rereading it as well. I still pick it up, and get something new from it.

Keep up the good work.

What kind of tattoo are you getting. What does your wife think about it?

The cousin has promised she would never say a word of our talks..i told her if i ever found out she did, i could never trust her again.. plus she has a thing for my good buddy..

As for the tattoo:I will tell you a story, don't laugh..

approx 11 years ago i went to get a tattoo done at a friend's place.. i was drunk.. she had a homemade gun.. i ended up with a dot on my arm.. long story short.. i passed out and puked.. (sexy eh.lol)..

to this day i've always had a dot

i am getting a 4 leaf clover (for my irish side) and a maple leaf(Canadian).. side by each.. my wife doesn't think i will follow thru.. she laughed a little when i told her..i have always wanted it.. and am getting it saturday.,. please God don't let me faint LOL..

my W thinks i am too chicken to follow thru..

sent an email to SIL with just:

How was the movie? How is your day going?

Her response:Movie was good, but a girl flick and surprised Jim didn't really complain!
I do hope you didn't leave because of the crappy paper work I left with you - we did want you to stay. I can't relate to what you are felling, but I hope I don't make you feel any worse!
And was thinking about you earlier and would understand if you are not comfortable helping me with the resume - PLEASE be honest and I will understand if you'd rather not.
It may not have worked with my sis, but I wish you all the best.

my thought out response:

I had a feeling something was up. You seemed very nervous and “different”
I left to go sit around a fire with H & J (My buddies)
I love your sister plain and simple.
I said I would help you work on your resume , and I stand behind that..
I get my tattoo Saturday . 
What do you mean about account with Canada post?
Not sure where the Lancaster is? I can do lunch tomorrow

Ideas? Thoughts? Suggestion?

The tattoo sounds pretty cool. She'll believe it when she sees it. Won't that be a huge 180 lol.

You won't be drunk this time, which will help a lot. You could tell them to just keep going no matter what! Lol.

I think the response sounds pretty good.

What if you asked her if she wanted to go watch when you get the tattoo? Casually.
