Going back looking at my pics of my great weekend w/ my wonderful fiance. Thats what matters!

Its gonna be HOT , ugggh! dangerous w/ fireworks coming again.
We are not allowed but my BIL and B are buying some , we do them by the pool, pretty harmless and we are very careful, theres nothing like the fun " emits showers of sparks" fireworks you let off in your own yard! Memories!

I'm gonna try! although its clean the house day for the 4th weekend, everyones comin here for swimmin.

Seems a lot of yuckiness on the board lately, maybe its time to bid a farewell, maybe last thread days lol . I guess there comes a time when we do need to leave. sad though, I still feel I need advice from fellow DBers, or ex DB but living new lives, just this week w/ my issues w/ Ry and his too much partying and his breakdown about dad, having my real life friends is great but it sure is good to get a POV from fellow LB.

At least I got in before the email ban lol now i can bug certai people FOREVER AND EVER lol

You can't leave, too much fun to be had here and it is so much easier to stay connected to larger numbers of folks than through email.

As for the drama, we've seen it come and go and sometimes, good intentions don't come accross well in text. In other cases, some drama just seems to follow folks but yet, we still want the best for them and to simply agree to disagree.

Too many serious things going on in life to waste negative energy as a result of posting on a board.

I noticed the same thing. I kind of miss the days of glitter poles, swimming pools filled with lime jello, and of course a through trashing of the shack with raunch and debauchery. Heh! heh! heh! Now that was some big fun. Of course as I recall someone didn’t have a sense of humor that day either. I guess I missed the policy that says you have to check your smile at the door when entering DB land. I used to come to the board whenever I needed a pick me up but it seems like lately the bright spots are as hard to come by as… chicken lips and turtle fur… Ha! Sometimes I crack me up!

Hey Karen: Sorry to hear there's been some negative drama on the bb. Seems to be happening more and more frequently. All the drama USED to be about our exes. I thought we were kinda "safe" over here - most of our talk is about our lives and our "movin' on".

I haven't been on much lately. Been more away than at home and the cottage has no Internet so I'm kinda "out of the loop". Best to stay out of the drama. I'm not so sure about censorship. There have been some things I didn't like at times but I just stopped reading or posting there. Seems when there are things banned - I can never even figure out what happened. Oh well...

Anyway, I think some of us just stick around because we like the other people here and we give support and encouragement when we can and ask for some at other times. I sure don't see any problem with that.

Anyway, the bb has changed. Can't figure out the email thing either but most of the people I know I have their email anyway. I just can't imagine wanting to hurt the people we've been in the trenches with.

So - don't leave. Just let this one blow over too. I doubt I'll leave - just ease off as I have because I don't feel the need to post so much. But I still do care.

Well, ya know it is summer, perfect time for a "pool party." There are some spunky youngin's around here (to me, under 40 is now young LOL!). We shall see what can be stirred up!

Btw ALL, haven't been around your thread too much, just so darn busy but I think of you ridin' and harvesting, enjoying life in your tin shack. I know you are doing well!

Barb glad to see ya around, even if only briefly! My marathon posts show that life is indeed good for me. Very, very content in my singleness but I'm receptive to finding a good woman.
