He brought flowers home even! I asked her could she reel him back in? She said she does and he will be attentive for a month then back to normal.
Early on in this journey, I was doing a lot of Dr. Laura listening and really appreciated much of what she said. On many occasions, she stated that women have way more power than they realize if they would just learn to use it. She also said we men were, as a generalization, simple and less complicated than women. (As she described us guys, I actually didn't mind being referred to as "simple" )
Before my D, I bought one of her books and tried to share it with my X but she was already mentally gone from the marriage even though I didn't know it. Your friend seems to be headed down that path and maybe she can learn to be content in singleness but is that what she is really going to want? Also, what will her life be like without her H in the home to help with her son?
Besides lending a sympathetic ear, maybe you can suggest the following book (if she were my friend I would make the suggestion):
I will suggest this C2,thank you, It seems w/ C its a total cheeseless tunnel for them both, I can see her getting on his nerves and I see him being a frustrating partner. She will complain about the same things week after week and J and I look at each other. One week she is talkin about D him, the next week they are going up north to see their D, and we say ohhh so you and H are ok now? She will say this week.
B and I discuss them because we go out all together he thinks maybe they are one of those couples, ya know like The Costenzas on Seinfeld lol Their life is just like that. Yell, argue, slam doors and 5 mins later its " honey,w hat do you want for dinner" seriously I do wonder.
Thanks tho C2, I will for sure keep this in mind for if she comes to me again ( and i think she will!) w/ the problem

I've never been to a military hangin er ah wedding either. So do they have soldiers with machine guns there making sure the groom doesn't make a break for it at the last second?

I'm backkkkkkkkkkkk!! Hey Mr. All and Mr. C2! C, we went down the road to San Diego! lol I LOVE LOVE San D!!! its my fav place, stayed at our fav place and did a lot! B isnt as familar w/ SD as I am, so I am enjoying being a tour guide,
Went to Pt. Loma lighthouse, Seaport village shoppng , The Midway martime museum , Del Coronado Hotel, which is beautiful!! Old Town, toured the Whaley house, didnt see any ghosts tho, darn it! Had great meals, sitting outside watching the sun set on the water, and our hotel was fab, watched fireworks from sea world one evening from the balcony.
Just a great time and I didnt wanna come back!! B had a nice birthday weekend I think. Missed my kitty tho AND my kid
Back to reality. Ho hummm lol

Ok I am bugged at myself for letting people who dont matter a hill of beans in my life get to me.
I guess cause you try to be as nice as you can be, try to get along, meet new people - try to help if you can, if not just support,,,and someone uses your name because they assume something about you, someone you dont even know!! I can see if it was someone who i had met or talk to but someone who complains it seems about beings " singled out" and dosnt like people ASSuming things about them, turns around and does it.
Why do i even let such small people bother me? I shouldnt. I'm gonna have some wine lol
