Well, weekend is over (Tues night). On Sat morn just before going to lake, WW found out I had contacted OMW. $hit hit the fan!!

"You blew any chance"
"You are so manipulative and out of control"
"You are so controlling"
"I hate you for doing that"

Still went to the lake - not a word said to me all weekend away by her.

Asked me again tonight why I did that - must be out of spite, revenge, etc. You cannot care what OMW feels - you never have been able to do that. I have lost so much respect for you...

Total script. In fact I could have written it ahead of time, what she would say. Man, you THINK they would come up with something more ORIGINAL!

Just stick to YOUR script: "I don't expect you to understand. I did what I did to try and save our marriage, and our family."

If she says she's livid, say "I know. I would be too," or "I understand."

She'll calm down. Usually takes about 1-5 days.

She cornered me tonight and asked what I expected to accomplish by contacting OMW. I strayed from script (caught off guard) and said that I wanted to make sure she was ok. She said bull$hit because I have never been a caring person like that. Must be vindictive, cannot believe that I would be that desparate. Lost so much respect for me. Must think that if I can't have her then no one, esp OM can. They were trying to get on with their M. Cannot believe what I did.

When I tried to say sorry that you do not believe I could be a caring person, she went to bathroom, shut the door and said I can't hear you and I don't want to.

What a childish reaction!!!!! But she was livid.

Yes. I think she used the word "spite" instead of "vindictive," but hell yeah. Got the exact same "You blew ANY chance you had now!" and "If you thought that would WORK with me, you are SO mistaken!" lines.

I found it particularly hard to hold back an angry response when she said how my contacting OMW made her sick. I really wanted to go for the jugular there - but didn't.

Mon morning update:A couple things from last evening.

First, WW asks if I have been on her laptop because some software had been installed. My reply - no - and I hadn't. I said I didn't even know the password. Ww says that I can easily get around a password. Gee thanks for the vote of confidence!

Then later I am heading to bed. Just about crawl in (yes same bed as WW) and she starts this:

WW - I can't believe you are sleeping in the same bed as me.

Me - well this is where I sleep.

WW - well I don't have to.

Me - no you don't.

WW - (still in bed) are you in f***ing denial? We are getting D.

Me - I heard you say that.

WW - do you have a plan?

Me - for what? I plan to go to sleep.

WW - do you have a plan for us?

Me - not really, maybe I should think of one.

Ww - and let me know please.

That's it - kept my calm I think. Nice end to the long weekend. I believe WW has appnt with L today. Suppose I should make one as well, just to be prepped.
