Well! Made it home!

Somehow there wasn't a drop of rain at the concert! Some wind, some clouds skirted the area, but no rain at all. It was pouring cats and dogs when we left home, and there was rain about halfway over there, but.....

Styx played first, and was really good. They went for about an hour and a quarter, and then got out of the say so the stage could get redone for Boston. By the time Boston started (9:20 or so) S10 had pretty much fallen asleep! He spent the night at a friend's house last night, I wonder how much he slept there. He didn't wake up while they played! One advantage to being on the lawn was that he could just lay down! Even S13 was in and out during the Boston show, they played until almost 11.

Both bands were really good. The singer that Boston "rescued" from Home Depot was actually really good. I'm sure a year ago he could never have imagined what he's doing now!

We made it home, and poured the guys into bed, they even got in the house under their own power!

W was asleep, but woke up (the dog barked) and asked the guys how it was. She was surprised we didn't get rained on!

Awesome Jeff!!!!

Sounds like you had a great time.

Good for you.

What did the guys think of the concert? Well, when they could keep awake. \:\)

I'm so happy for you.

Jeff, so glad the concert was fun! I went for Swedish Massage on Saturday, and attended 3 graduation parties. Even spent some time with the H, including a motorcycle ride on Sunday. (My first ever.) He actually told me ILY many times.

I am so convinced this is a MLC! He is keeping his first appointment with the Lawyer at 12:30. That makes me nervous. I asked him to take whatever time and space he needs, keep the appointment just to be informed, but please don't file any legal separation papers yet. I so hope he doesn't, but I am trying to steel myself in case he does.

He definitely likes things to be neat and tidy and I can see him filing just to be sure he does things right. (Even though I think it wouldn't be right.)

Sounds great Jeff! I've never understood how kids can fall asleep in loud surroundings. My son used to fall asleep during the fireworks at Disneyland. Seriously!!! BOOM BOOM BOOM!!!! ZZZZ ZZZZ ZZZZ!!!

Thanks! The kids had a good time, even when they did sleep. S18 really enjoyed it, and the "little" guys seemed to have a good time, too, despite the sleeping! S13 has made noises about wanting a guitar, his mom has said he would need to start with an acoustic. He was resistant. After a few of the songs that Tommy Shaw played last night, on acoustic, S13 said that might not be so bad after all!

Hmmm, is she worried about the noise of it? Because, not to argue too much, but while acoustic is all well and good, in reality you can make electrics quieter because you can turn the amp down to 1.

If he does learn guitar and looks anything like a younger version of you...the girls may be in serious trouble! ;\)
