I think these experiences are making us grow as people, we are learning such a lot about ourselves and it is helping us have better relationahips generally. At least it is a huge positive we can take from what is otherwise a sh**ty situation.
That is so great spending time with your brother. Is he older than you? I just recently spent time on my own with my brother, which we haven't really done since I was 10. I also got to know my sister-in-law much better and I don't think that would have happened if my h had been around.
J, My brother is 3 years younger than me. But I feel like we are peers now that we're both in our twenties! That is soooo great that you got to connect with your brother and sister-in-law in exciting ways. !!! Yay!!

things are pretty quiet on my front... I have just been hanging out with my family, etc... yesterday I met with one of my dad's musical friends who is actually my age, another cellist who is really interested in experimentation. It was super inspiring to talk to her, because she is really living a lot of my dreams right now. And today I went to Body Pump with my mom at the gym. I've been scared of going for years, but finally felt like I was ready, plus afterwards we got to do cardio. It was good to have mom time!!
Having this time at home, with lots of empty open mental space, I'm realizing that I have a bunch of emotional baggage about music that I need to excavate. I wish I was still in therapy and had someone to hold my hand. Also, realizing my motivation level is extremely low right now, for working on the cello, and I think it's been pretty low since thanksgiving or something... so I am trying to ease myself through that. And realizing I am still dreaming about B all the time, even when I am napping, he shows up in my dreams. ayi yi yiyiiii!
