I agree. This is really evident with "going dark". Everyone says but won't my S think I have given up on us( or the like) but really it is to give you some space, some perspective that isn't based on emothion but reality, it is for your protection. So that goes against what you feel but in reality is probably the best thing for you if you are at that point.
