Mike - Don't think your weird, I honestly believe that probably 90% (+) of people really haven't a clue how they ended up where they are and haven't lived the live exactly as they planned in their later teens etc.
I think most of us also have those similar things we want to do in life and would of rather of done them when young, but the reality is, we may do some of them, but more likely we do them as we get older, the kids have flown etc.
