(((((((tmarie)))))))

Just love her. And, you didn't fail her. You can't control what your H does, and you shouldn't. So, please try to get rid of that feeling. Your D doesn't need to see that.

To lighten the subject a bit....
Is your son in San Diego, or Parris Island? When does he finish? Our oldest went though it in San Diego last summer.

No, you really can't tell him while he is there! He has plenty on his plate! If he is sounding good now, I think he'll be fine getting through it, and the time will fly. The feeling I got from my son was that they really want you to succeed, so as long as he is motivated, he'll make it through. I never thought my son was the "type", and yet he really seemed to do well. He's in the reserves, and his unit got called up just in time for him to go to Djibouti, Africa for 7 months!

I see on here alot that it gets worse before it gets better...it can not feel any worse than it does right now.

I think there are lots of flavors of worse, and lots of flavors of better! The good thing about being here is that there are people who understand, and will go through it with you.

First of all I don't think you have failed your D. You are fighting for the M, it is your H who is failing. He is the one that left the pictures and stuff out for everyone to see. How insensitive is that!!!

Just be there for your D and answer any questions she may have and talk to her honestly. Is your H still going to the session with Michelle? Or is he completely checking out of the R?

I am wrong in thinking he is only thinking of himself?

No, right now I'd say that's very likely.

There's nothing you can do to stop that, you sure can't point it out to him! He sounds pretty MLCish to me. But that can be a good thing, in that it usually means there is confusion, at some level, rather than certainty. But don't expect him to let you see the confusion.
