That sounds good Mishka!

I do usually use our gas grill. I have some metal boxes to put soaked wook chips in to get smoke. And when I do a roast, I light one burner, and cook on the other side.

My favorite is cheap pork roast, rubbed with ground up peppers, pepper, salt, and whatever else sounds good, ground up in a coffee grinder. Then pull it, and simmer it with a BBQ sauce. Though it is good without the sauce, and maybe better for the new diet!

oh my gosh! Hot sausage?!?? Thats what they have on the bbq in the UK. Sausages.

Jeff, you're a Saggi! The eternal optimist. The party goer! The my-glass-is-half-full person. We had a little whisper about why she didnt want to change her schedule and both had the same thought.. so I was wondering, have you ever actually asked her if there is an OP on the scene? At any point? Curious...

Can I have a veggie burger/corn on the cob wrapped in foil with butter please?

No, I have never asked her if there is an OP. I don't plan to, for the time being, at least. At this point, I still really doubt it.

So, do you want the sausage, or the veggie burger? The corn is easy!

I think for our picnic, we will go up Mt. Lemmon, where it will be a lot less hot than down in Tucson!

Not my pic, but you get the idea:

Oooh, I never made it up there when I was in the area. Looks nice! I'll have to add that to the list for the fall trip!

It's on the list for your fall trip!

The view from the top of the ski lift is pretty impressive!

Yes, very beautiful! Love the redwoods - I have one in my front yard.

So there was talk yesterday of doing something a little special for your W, Jeff. Any ideas yet?
