Just re-read through some of the last few posts and remembered that I still need to go buy a tennis ball. Funnily I tried to buy one today but it came in a bag of 18 and I really didn't want to spend that much money when I only wanted one.. and then I guess I got distracted with another thought and it completely slipped my mind. So it's still on my long list of things to do.
As for some other things I've been up to today. Had a momentary slip in my armor. D2's daycare had a graduation ceremony this morning.. so I went to it.. and some of the kids were SOOOO cute and SOOOOO animated singing and dancing that it melted my heart a little... so although it was something to be happy about instead it made me feel really quite teary. I don't think I'm really explaining myself all that well.. I guess I'm just having an off day today.
H didn't call yesterday, which is odd for him. He has only missed calling D2 to say goodnight a few times. I saw this morning that he had sent an email last night.. just giving me a one line sentence to say what he was doing and that he'd call later. That call later came at 11am today.. which I did not answer. So he called my cell phone... which I also did not answer. So he sent a text to my cell phone saying what he was doing and asking what I was doing. I responded a couple of minutes ago as I was busy doing other things (see below).
I applied for another job today. Fingers crossed!!!!!
I also removed a lot of the weeds from my lawn again today. Man, it's exhausting. I wish I were rich and could afford to pay someone to do it for me. I don't have a green thumb, the sun and me do not exactly get along (being a freckler and burner and all) and my back is quite sore from having to bend my 5 foot 9 body to touch my toes over and over and over... and did I say "over"? again!!!!!!!
