Yes, I'm in the gym about 4-5 times a week, but I'm only lifting twice a week right now. I just hate lifting legs and I've never had a problem w/ them, so I really don't do them like I should. I know I need to add it as it will help w/ muscle tone and burning of calories, but I'm not on that wagon yet. Hopefully, I'll get it done this week and stick w/ it.
I'd love to be able to exercise outside more, but the combination of our heat here in Phoenix and my bad left knee make running on hard surfaces nearly impossible. I'm ok w/ the treadmill, which is unfortunately all I can do these days.
Tomato-If you have a gym that is pretty good for only $25 a year, I'd jump on it and try and get yourself going. Your body always feels good after cardio work, but I ran for a bit after lifting chest and back yesterday and it felt great b/c I could actually feel my upper body muscles while I ran. It was a good feeling and lets me know I'll be ok to hit the pool w/out embarassing myself.
However, I didn't do so well w/ golf last night. I was hitting well, then I stopped to call my D. Well, wouldn't you know it, but W got on the phone and when she hung up w/out a goodbye, I let it affect me and my practice session was pretty worthless after that. I left close to a 1/2 bucket on the ground and left. I was able to talk myself out of letting her mood affect my mood, but just by going there for a little bit, it totally screwed up everything I had going on the range and I was unable to get it back. So, I hit one good one w/ good tempo and left.
So, now I'm going to get cleaned up and look at what I need to get done for today.
