Felt humidity in Boston once, omg! not fun. Now I know what people mean by " its a dry heat"
Went out to dinner w/ the gals last night. Feel bad for my friend C, shes been married 30 some years ( married very young, like 16) For the last at least 10 yrs shes not been happy, her H is a nice guy, wayyyyy quiet more so then my ex! but he is emotionally absent, I mean really absent. She really is trying, and a few months back , they turned a corner! Was so happy for her, she heard something on the radio, and she changed her ways and in turn his changed, no more cheeseless tunnels
Well, hes started to drift back into old ways again. Shes just at witts end and I know when she hears about B and I and she listens to our friend J , who is very happily married 40 yrs, she gets a little envious and wonders ,,,,what if.... I personally think that he needs to miss her! I know, prob not what most would say, but a little distance may open his eyes. I h ave heard her cry about this for 4 yrs now and I dont see it getting better. I feel so bad for her. I see a lot of my ex in her H, with him just being blank, no emotion at all.
All I can do tho is be supportive. You have to wonder what happens to some couples, what happens that they lose that feeling they had when they first got together and is there any way to get it back once its gone?
