Tell the bride and your friend...and don't worry about what anyone else thinks.

If your friend will be more fun, take him. Like I said, just say your H had to work or whatever and leave it at that.

Take a deep breath and just keep moving forward. "the sun will come out tomorrow....."

"....said he would stand in for H at the wedding if I wanted him to. "

Iasked first....
Take it easy Kris, I know that is easier said that done but like in the beginning ya can't worry about the things you have no control over.

I am sooo trying to look the other way right now in my sitch. I don't want to check the phone log, I don’t want to let W know that the other day when I was looking through papers to fix the garage door I found all the "investigation" paperwork I did when I first found out. I know more about the OM than his mother. I put the papers back.
YES to be spiteful if things don't work out the OM is not going to know what hit him.....Kind of the “I know what you did last summer"....
Anyway today is a good day so far for me ...

Hang in there and feel free to e-mail me if ya have my e-mail

((((KRIS)))))
Darlin,... you take care of you. Clearly your H needs the hockey stick wack across the head.

I'm left shaking my head here... how can these spouses be so eff'ing cruel!

Oh Kris,

I am so so sorry. His reaction seems so typical. He gets caught and is turning it around on you. I'm so dang mad for you.

I think you should go to the wedding with your friend. Regardless of what you decide with H, that night should be somewhat nice for you, especially since you have the added stress of playing a role in the wedding. You do NOT need the added stress of him there. Take your friend, and try to do for YOU that night. Try in the midst of all this chaos to have a night of fun.

I'm so sorry. I just wish there was something I could say.

Chris

Thanks everybody. It really does help to come here and vent and read other people's thoughts on this. I have pretty much been up and down. One minute I'm fine, the next I am a mess. I realized this morning that I have lost 8 lbs. Back on that divorce diet I guess. I know it isn't good, but I can't seem to keep food down.

A friend told me yesterday that he saw H and a "dark-headed girl" in his car. I wish he hadn't told me that and I told him so.

On the plus side I got my dress for the wedding yesterday from the alterations lady...and I looked pretty fabulous if I do say so myself. I went and got a spray tan and I am amazed at how dark I am and how good it looks! There will be a band, free booze, and lots of friends from college that I haven't seen since MY wedding....so it can't be all bad right?

Oh yeah, played phone tag with the lawyer all day yesterday. Kinda hard because I don't want to talk to him in my office....too many people listening.

I will talk to him today. If nothing else I will see him tonight, he is in the group of friends that goes out to dinner on Wednesday nights.

Just talked to the lawyer, supposed to go after work tomorrow. My heart is racing now, I don't know if I can do this.
