Look who came up for air! All I have to say about that is that it's about time. Are either of you going to give us an update? I'd say that's the least you could do..........
All is good so far. Trying to keep the peace with the EX before she takes the kids to Texas in a week for a vacation before she moves.
Still getting organized here. Thought it would go quicker but I have to say, at least I made a dent in the garage!!! Man, was it a nightmare! Have a pretty good pile of stuff for a yard sale and will turn it around to get newert things such as pots and pans, plate set, etc.
Kids are really happy that they now call THIS house home....and are settling in nicely. Sasha, the vicious Pom of mine, is loving it here...she misses TRIP though.....always laying by her slippers.
I should have custody of the kids just after they get back from TX in mid July or at the very least, the end of July. They have been living with me since early June and I still pay the EX....don't you love how the court systems work in this great country!
Other than that, S16 looks like he is advancing into the 11th grade and D14 is still looking like she will make it into the tenth grade....her grades were horrible this year....but you know it's ALL MY FAULT according to EX. Even though they both lived with her during almost the ENTIRE school year...I deployed when school started and came back early Jan....and had them off and on for just the weekends till the middle of April...then I left again for the NCO Academy mid April and got back here and of May....so see....it was my fault....the whole 20 some-odd days they were with me....yeah, right....MY fault....whatever.
FA-- SO glad to hear that you are home. I am officially divorced, and doing better than I anticipated. School is out (yea!!!!) for the summer, and I am getting the house in order. Glad the kids are settling in, D
