omg, life is so funny, after everything h did, now that we're finalizing the decree, all of a sudden, he DOESN'T want d for the summer (monday through friday) and wants me to have her -- wtf??? he spoke to his lawyer and I just got the call! after he fought me tooth and nail, wtf??

we will be signing this on thursday and I will get the money he owes me. I feel relieved to say the least. I don't get why he went from wanting TOTAL custody to only wanting weekends. so confused.

Didn't someone say it was about controlling you, and that it really wasn't what he wanted?

I think that's great you get your daughter more! Does the money H will be giving you reflect that change?

Don't try to understand him. It will confuse and exhaust you.

He never really wanted the responsibility of the child. He wanted to try to hurt you as much as possible, both emotionally and financially. When that didn't work, he saw that taking care of a child is a big responsibility. He just wants to have fun.

Maryangela

I have to totally agree with the statement that he really did not want the responsibility of D for the summer.

He wanted her to hurt you..to crush you, to break you down. But see, you outsmarted him!

Go with the flow, I agree totally with Sara, he wants to have fun with ow. If i am not mistaken does she not have a child? if yes, how old is she or he? I am going with a gut feeling the child is older, and does not require much attention as your d. Just guessing.

Don't try to figure H out, you never will, and you will just give yourself a headache. And its totally not worth it, thats for sure.

hugs
bear

of course you guys are right. my dad predicted this. his ow has a 10 year old. what really kills me is that on the weekends since he's moved out and had her on the weekends I just found out that not only are they all together like a family, but she and the child sleep over! I know this now for a fact. imo, both she and h (esp. h) are so irresponsible and disgusting for doing this. he's only been gone for 2 freakin' months! where is his common sense???

LOL!!

That is so a trick question!!!

Very good dryheat!!

LMAO

Let it go Maryangela, you will never, ever, ever, never have any control or imput into your h's common sense.

He is going to do what he wants to do. You have to make peace with it. Just like H will have no control over what you do with your time with D.

Think of it this way, if you wanted to wear purple pajamas with big yellow dots and have your d wear the same, every time she was with you. Its your choice. H can do nothing about it. Even if he hated the color purple. He can't do a thing about it.

Your h's just like mine, common sense fell out of their heads a long time ago. They dropped it, and they will never find where they left it.

Let it go. Dont show him it bothers you. Move on from it.

we signed sep. papers today. everything's in stone now. so relieved!! It's funny, when he first dropped bomb, this was the LAST thing I wanted, now it's like a gift. no more game-playing on his part. It's all spelled out!!

also, isn't it funny, he fought me on custody for a month and NOW because I have primary, he gets every other weekend (he was taking her every weekend before). I said to him that I think it would still be best if he kept her on the weekends. he was like, "I have things I may want to do on the weekends". Unbelievable. here was a guy who tried to literally take my kid away from me, make me "unfit" and now I'll have to PUSH him to take her on weekends. true colors, eh?

also, on the way home (yes, we took the same car, stupid I know), he told me i was ugly, put my body down (I am in great shape!!), literally put me down from my job situation, to everytthing. told me that I PUSHED him into having an affair. that it was my "fault" that he went with another woman. I didn't give him the dignity of a response.

He is pure evil.

He also dropped me off 2 blocks from the house so he wouldn't have to see d (she was staying with a neighbor) -- his excuse was that she would want to go home with him and it would upset her.

what an a**hole,no?

Yes, quite the a@@hole! Good thing you no longer buy into his crap. Let him pick on OW for a change! And don't worry, he will. The leopard doesn't change its spots.
