Obviously if she left the papers in the kitchen and sent you a text that there's chicken in the oven, she wanted you to see the papers. Something like that doesn't just get left out on accident.
I've been thinking that also. Very weird that it's all been out there for you to snoop and see.
Oh, and no she can't serve you herself. You have to be served by a law enforcement officer, which costs money. Unless you sign a special "waiver of service" form.
In my sitch, W didn't want to/couldn't afford to serve me, so I stalled several months before signing the waiver.
From the outside looking in, I think she just wants you to know she's serious about this. Like I said before, if she REALLY wanted a D, and quick, there would be a lawyer.
