Just called W, she said she understands I'm really busy. She said "don't worry about it, I got a loan. It will just be really tight the next couple weeks."
I complemented her on being so resourceful (it is really amazing that she can get a loan in her situation). I told her she'll be fine, and I'm still interested in talking about the stock.
So glad I didn't rush into giving her $500.
