I'm sure you want to JUST go with your sons, it being a male bonding fathers day thing, but could you raise it with her again, say, you're welcome to come if you can change your schedule? She will probably say no. Seems to me she blurted it out, then went and composed herself and thought better of it. But could it have been a whisker peeking out of the cave, as you would say to me? I dont know, it could just be random!

That seems big to me, that she asked, what if I wanted to come? I get the vibe from you and your sons that you'd rather not have her around because she is a pain in the butt/Debbie Downer, like maybe you were relieved that the concert was during her work so she couldn't come. But...do you think she feels excluded frequently? How could you Do Something Different to help her feel more included??
Hi Jeff. I'm glad you are GAL. I'm just starting with my baby steps to do that. I have a massage planned for Saturday and I'm getting my hair done on Sunday. I've only been the LBS for a few days, but the nightmare started June 2nd.
