I'm guessing that she'll be able to arrange something with the CC company without getting near BK. I do find it interesting that she managed to get to the point of a collections agency before she realized she had a problem. She must have been ignoring things for a while.

I told her this also. She met with a financial counselor on Friday, and he told her some options.
She summed it up last night by saying "I just wanted you to be aware of all the trouble you caused". BS. That card had no balance when we separated. Then she put a new car and a boob job on it. And now it's my fault somehow.
Michelle, I agree. This could all be seen as positive. I just wonder how much she can screw things up before she wakes up.
Thanks everyone. Took care of some insurance stuff today, they wanted to verify that her headaches weren't from a car accident. They can sure come up with every roadblock in the book before paying out any freaking money.
