Give him a little grace here. When I am totally wrung out from work, especially when things are bad and not just busy, I need to feel things are right at home. That means sex and my wife initiating. That says, "you may be a srew up at work, but you can still make your wife hot". Again, follow through etc may not be the best, but he needs the support and his ego stroked. It is a killer to be told you suck at work and then come home to be told you suck there too (add in a few creditors and it gets really bad!)
Give him time, you are meeting his needs now in the right way. Don't get discouraged, he will come back when things smooth out there or he adjusts. If you do need to discuss, do it in a really gentle, non acusatory way. "I really enjoy the sex and can't get enough of you attitude" as opposed to I am not getting what I need.
Remember, he is no longer hungry not because he is well fed, but because work is killing his appetite. Look, I can't even imagine any more what it would be like for a woman to volounteer oral...
