I think it's a natural reaction to reach out to stop someone from falling. I don't really think she had time to think it out. It think the fact that she went on a walk with you is a good sign.

Ok... and another thing we swapped dog leashes and i know it sounds sad, but our hands touched for the first time in a month.. it was nice.. i kept eye contact with her everytime she'd speak (thats why i walked in dog poop), she wouldn't always look ME in the eyes... then while i was taking our the garbage (garbage day today)..and cleaning the litter(s).. she yelled "do u want something to eat?" .. i said sure.. then we actually ate in the same room..
there was a peaceful feel to "us" ... but i know she is pissed at me..
