I'm in complete agreement with Ali Jeff. Change something up unless you are just fine with the status quo. I don't think you really are. You love your W, right? You want the best for her, right? Aren't you what is best for her? Make sure she sees that.
I know the diet plan is for your health but it doesn't hurt in the looks department either does it? Exercise....you indicated you aren't doing any. I know you have a bad knee so what about a bike? Eliptical? Weights? Those are things that won't impact your knee too badly. I have a bum knee that likes to dislocate the kneecap every now and then. It's just lovely!
Do what you need to Jeff, but I'm just saying that things seem so stuck for you. Make a change even if you don't think it's going to spark anything. It could just spark something for you alone. Wouldn't that be just as good?
