I am thinking about doing something along those lines for when I might be back in NYC in july/august...and wondering if I should have done something different during this visit.
Just got back from the chinatown expedition... we went to a store called 'girls love shoes', and checked out an accordion store that is also headquarters for an all-girls accordion band called the big squeeze (!!), and shopped for special tea and exotic japanese face masks, got vegetarian dim sum, took the subway to see a concert of new music, and then walked home... lots of GALing...
