As long as she's never commented on it, I thinks it's OK. If she disapproves of it, take it off. If she just asks about it, certainly don't tell her that it represent your undying love and commitment to her. Just tell her you feel naked without it on. She might just leave it at that.

if she says anything (because i know she saw it on my right hand and completely off).. i will say the right thing, "well i was getting ghost finger" ..i klnow it will garner a laugh or 2
