Hmmmm, chili would be good, but to me it's a cold weather dish....
If she wouldn't expect you to cook, how about something like fajitas? Pretty easy, and yet a bit exotic! And something for dessert, perhaps a key lime pie? Again, really easy, and yet different!
She cooks chili all the time.. i will try fajitas.. thanks..
