I am setting up a blog on blogger.com, but I dont know how often I will be near wi-fi. I do have to keep in touch with work.
I have already told the kids to be careful with the obsedian - it can cut, and if they just toss it in their buckets, it can break easily.
Someday, I will take the kids to a place to look for the Oregon state rock - "The Thunderegg". The Virgin Valley near the Bog Hot springs has quite a lot of Opal deposits and one can do their own digging there for a fee.
Kerry, hope you have a great trip. It sounds really fun. Will be lokking for updates and reports. have a good time and make good memories.
