My MIL called last night and said H had left an envelope for me at her place before he left on his trip.

I started thinking of all the bad things he could have left for me--legal papers? An "I am really done" letter? What?

Turns out it was a couple work expense checks he wanted me to deposit.

So anyway I know how it goes when we assume......
