Matty, his son copes best as he can too. but at least he has junior ROTC and that helps him to have other focus. Guess she must be okay with that because that has been the only thing she has not taken from him at this point.
Can you send her an iPod nano? They are TINY and might escape detection. You can send her music, or even audio books.
If she likes to draw, maybe she can sketch out a mural that can be painted on the wall of her new bedroom...?
I hope that her brother and her can lean on each other (some kids huddle up, others get on the other's nerves under pressure). There can be a lot of non-tangible games that they can come up with--my kids love PunchBuggy when we are in the car.

All I know is that the kids are in their glory being with their dad. Eating well(that's a biggy!), sleeping in their comfy beds, visiting friends, and being able to have tv, phone, and internet.
I am sure FA will post more soon. He's still busy getting the house in order.
