I think you're right, g, and it drives me nuts too. I think since she filed for D there has been only 1 time that we've gotten together and she hasn't broken into tears. I'd like to think that if I were that emotional about something I might question whether it was really such a good idea to throw it away without trying even just a little bit. But I don't know what she's focusing on and maybe the pain she's felt is too intense to chance revisiting. Although I keep coming back to the wrench the OM has been. That, along with her own strong need for independence, has seemed to derail all my efforts, or at least that's what I've heard her say.
