The flooding along the Mississippi is the worst. Yesterday we went and did some sandbagging here in Illinois. My boss is an Iowa Hawkeye and as bad as it is already in Iowa City the river doesn't crest until tomorrow night. It's so scary and so sad!

Sounds like you had a great time with your boys. That's what it's all about, making memories!

I'm praying for those flood victims. There are so many of them that have lost their homes to these floods. It compares to New Orleans in scale and probably even more widespread in damage. We are all going to feel this in one way or another in the future.

I'm enjoying my boys being out of school. We are going on a fishing/hiking/swimming/fun trip to Lake Erie July 14 TH through the 17 TH. Just us three. I rented a cabin right on the Lake. I'm stoked, I can't wait.

Thanks Shoe, I slept most of the day...lol. I worked a 12 hour night shift last night and I'm back for more abuse tonight.

How are you?

Shoe, your multi-talented. Something will turn up for you. It's just a matter of time. Hang in there! Sometimes things like jobs fall into your lap when you least expect them.

Speaking of Italian, I had Olive Garden for dinner. Love their linguini and claim sauce. Of course nothing compares to home made. I'm sure your Dad appreciated it.

thanks for the kind words about the job. I need to be more positive. Olive Garden does have good pasta and clam sauce! I have not attempted that yet. My dad was very happy.

I have a bit of news. I'm meeting my stbx for a "happy hour" drink and some wings Wednesday.

It's the second request from her to meet for a drink. First time I declined because I had other commitments. This time, I accepted... She's buying.

Not sure what it's all about, but I'm going to find out. She wants to "just talk" with me. My Sister is watching our S8. This will be the first time we have sat down and talked without our S8 present in over 2 years. The subject has always been about him, but I think this time is different.

I have no expectations and I'm hoping she doesn't either. I know this Woman I have been dating since March has been weighing on her mind. She made subtle hints to that effect. I have dated in the past, but not the same Woman for any great length of time. She's not been mean to me lately and has been very civil. At times, she has been playfully "frisky" with me, which is very odd. We'll see what's on her mind.
