I like the e-mail reply- I think it's friendly and interesting- I like the link to the crocs site- he can check it out and respond with something in kind- very open!
And I love that you're telling him you'll be at the concert tomorrow. I think it will give him some time to prepare himself (in case he's as nervous about seeing you as you are about seeing him!) and it lets him know you're interested and excited about what he's doing.
