I replied to you on my thread, but what was wrong with your lazy as& husband volunteering to drag a vacuum around the house or use Soft Scrub on the toilet bowls? ;o)
Thanks, FLTC. When D17 was little and she saw me vacumn she would ask, "is Daddy coming home?" The vacumning and bathrooms weren't the issue.... I just have stacks of papers and stuff that seemed to congregate on the kitchen table (and counter and any available flat space . That drove him crazy! The garage and office (H's domain) were always immaculate! D17 reports that gf's house is "perfect". She doesn't really like to stay there because she is afraid to touch anything! The 2 extremes! Most of exH's stuff is still here....probably because she doesn't want extra stuff in her house. The issue to me was that I would choose to make cookies or visit someone in the hospital over cleaning the house--i.e. my heart was more important to me than having a spotless house. Obviously exH and his gf don't have the same heart!
