Ok Bethie, almost time to start saying, "wait to next year!" The good news is my team was picked to be 4th or 5th in it's own division this year and our starting center sat out over half the season. Watch out NBA, if we don't make a miracle come back, the team will be that much tougher next year!!!!
lnf, naw, times are not that bad. I know God is preparing me for the woman He has for me. I am simply waiting on His perfect timing and in the meantime, I pray for her whomever she is. I pray for her growth in her relationship with Him, that the Lord protect her and minister to her until He brings us together.

Huh? Yep, a "hug" They fired the guy who had my position and then brought me. The next week He left things a mess so in coming in and taking over, I have been busting my tail, meeting the needs of the customers, resolving old issues, helping new ones, working through lunch, evaluating processes, looking at revenue streams while learning on the job. So I'm standing at the receptionist area talking about some tracking procedures for work flow, figuring out together how to improve things.
Boss comes up, we ask him to sort of rubber stamp something we've come up with which he does. I'm leaning on her counter and he's standing next to me reaches his arm around my side and gives me a hug. It surprised me and I smiled.
He's pretty much left me alone to take on the job and figure out the best way to do it. We had a team meeting and the update I gave the team gave them confidence that I have quickly triaged the mess I inherited and am moving things in a very positive direction.
I've known my boss for 6 or 7 years and we are both Christians but I don't remember ever hugging each other so it caught me off guard but I was glad my efforts were recognized by him. Now, if continue to do well and he gives me a pat on the butt, I think I’m going to have to draw the line there.

They are too good and too proud to lose Sunday. So, they will go to Boston and face the music Tuesday. Who knows what will happen then. If they survive Tuesday and IF somebody else comes to play or if Pau Gasol eats some of Popey's spinach, we may even make a game of it for game 7.
No team has ever come back in the finals but what people figured was L.A. was the better team, with the better bench. Boston is way more experienced in NBA years but those NBA legs are gonna get tired if the Lakers start playing franically which they have the young guys to do it.
No one fights harder than when they feel the end is near and you wanna go down swinging or at least get in a few good punches at the other person.
Sunday and, likely, Tuesday, Boston is getting everything and the kitchen sink thrown at them. Then IF, maybe, possibly, hopefully anything could happen in a game 7, especially with Kobe. (Of course, the three headed monster is tough when at least two of the three heads are playing well, Garnet, Allen and Pierce, man, what competitors!)
Bethie, be gentle. This man has been a Laker fan for 40 years. I need some TLC (of course, if the shoe was on the othe foot, I would be unmerciful )
Greatest comeback in NBA finals history, on the OTHER team's court? My hat is off to the Celtics.

Snorting in public is now permissible by law. Blessings to you, and her and him and them over there and espcially our kids. Prayers too for the WAS's to "do the right thing" from here on out. Prayers for any OW/OM's to see the error of their ways and to eventually humble themselves to have a decent relationship, for the sake of the children, with any LBS's.
Now, I gotta go drive pray and plot snort worthy retorts!
