Onward and upward

He's not usually that thoughtful. If an opportunity arises he takes it. He sent me a text at about 8:45p asking me how I liked the recliner. It felt really good to be able to tell him (about 30 minutes later) that I wasn't home yet but was looking forward to seeing it. He didn't ask me where I was or anything which is just as well since I wouldn't have told him.

When I got home and saw and sat in the recliner I sent him a text telling him that it is wonderful and that it was very nice of him to do that for my mom. That I appreciated it very much and thank you. He replied with you're welcome. she needed it.

I left it at that. About an hour later he sent another text asking if I was asleep yet. I asked him what was up and he just said that he wanted to wish me a good night.

hmmmmmm.........do you think he might still be pondering our R convo from last Saturday? I hope so. I really do. As dumb as he can be I still love him with my whole heart.

I'll continue to keep hope alive and pray for guidance but have NO EXPECTATIONS!
