Too funny. I have tried to tie my own flies and they look like the flies you'd find around three mile island. My fingers are too big and have been broken too many times.
Besides, one of my good friends is probably one of the best at it out there. He ties at shows all over the country. Mine a shameful next to his. It's better for my ego not to try. On the bright side, I usually catch more fish than he does.
