that was beutiful J, *sigh* those rings had such meaning when there were exchanged.
It was eery what happened to my ring. At the time stbx went back to ow (I didnt' know it) my ring finger developed a horrible rash and I had to take it off and couldnt put it on. After I uncovered the A I refused to put it on, the ring to me meant commitment and love from my then H, I felt he had none of those so I kept it off, and sure enough, 6mths later I uncovered that the A went on after a hiatus. I never put it back on.

I just dawned on me that you are dealing with a double wammy, a S and the A, I had to deal with each of those events separately, and each was devastating on its own, it is a lot to take.
