I was always bad about making comments under my breath back at him and it really irrated him. Numerous times he would say something to the effect "this isn't the way to go about it." My interpretation being, that there was a way for me to talk to him that wouldn't push him away.

I have tried really hard not to bring up OW, talk back under my breath, set up arguments or walk into them myself and lastly let him deal with the mess with the kids. I am trying to stay as detached as possible because I am so tired of getting hurt. Besides I probably wasn't very attractive while crying, yelling, pleading. Lesson learned but hopefully not to late.
