L: and my guess is with his floundering about and all, he's not getting more attractive to women
L: or at least, not the kind of women he claims to want
Me: ummm no he's gonna have to play the military card a lot if he ever wants to get laid again
L: so, I think give him 5 years or so and he'll have to have confronted reality
Me: fat lot of good that does me
L: well, he's trapped in this alternate reality
L: and even when he knows he's being ridiculous he just says "I know" and expects the world anyway
L: this [deployment] thing is just another way for him to dodge reality
Me: yep
L: he comes up with all these romantic scenarios of how it will change his life
L: plus, it's not like he's planning on being celibate
L: he kept saying "have you seen albanian women?"
