H's Best Friend: before you're a wife, or even a girl, you're a human being and if you're not being treated that way, and not ALLOWING yourself to be treated that way....then you gotta get outta where you're at.
Friend: i know you don't believe in divorce....but before that, you probably don't believe in being treated like garbage, either.
Friend: i'm sure that value is higher up on the list than your feelings on divorce.
Me: yeah, true
Friend: i really think you need to bail this ship.
Me: i am starting to think so too
Friend: sure, he might get 'what he wants'.....but it's the last time he'll take something from you.
Friend: in fact, it's probably him shooting himself in the foot.
Me: i am not sure he will ever realize what he's lost
Friend: but, he won't see that till he really loses you for good.
