I just realized I misspelled my subject lol. I'm such a dork.

I can't believe I went through 10 pages in like 24 hours.

Craziness.

I want a nap.

Hi Michelle,

Did you manage to get the letter from your Dads yet? I am amazed at your restraint, I'd have dashed there in the middle of the night if necessary to pick it up!
You sound so much better on everyone elses threads, its really great that you can give to others when you feel low.
Thinking of you,

Me too!! Patience is not my strong suit.

I agree, when I am down I pretty much stay off everybody else's threads....but you are still right there giving great advice.

You are a great person and deserve much much more than your H has been giving you the past year.

I haven't. I am both curious and dreading it. I may go after work today.

Although H said we would talk today. But he hasn't contacted me at all. So, if he doesn't contact me, I'll go take care of that. If he does, maybe I'll meet up with him. I'm feeling a bit more able to deal with him today. Part of it is school being out for the moment and having a more relaxed schedule I'm sure.

(((Michelle))) you have great strength. I am amazed at how well you have handled all of this...I think I would have been on the floor. Just breath, and remember that this doesn't have anything to do with you. You have done everything really well, and maybe that is scaring him a bit. If you are not ready to meet up with him, don't worry about it. Divorces don't happen overnight, and I am not sure what the law is in CA, but in TX it takes at least 60 days before an uncontested divorce is final. Then the person who files has to go to court, so if he is going to be deployed, I am not sure it would come to that.

Keep your chin up, you are doing fabulous!!

Hey Michelle,

Good luck if you do go and get the paperwork. I'd be dreading it too- not knowing is almost better than seeing something in writing for me! I can't believe that after all that fuss H made he hasn't contacted you yet about meeting/speaking. Hopefully he's calmed down a little and feeling a bit ashamed of himself right now.

Don't work too hard today!

I am trying not to! Lol. I just walked up to the library, dropped off some books, and picked up The Control Freak and For Women Only, plus some fun stuff - Speaker For the Dead (sequel to Ender's Game for you sci-fi fans). The day is nice, breezy, which helps with the heat.

Today is a mellow day at work. Which definitely is helping me to regain my equilibrium. We shall see what the second half of the day brings I guess.

I am almost finished with Control Freak...It was really helpful. I am glad I bought it and I think you will be too! It is very insightful
