You misunderstand my timeline. It took 3 months from the time I learned of my wife's affair, and confronted and exposed, until she agreed to end it and beg me to take her back. At the TWO month mark, I had to have her served with divorce papers.
HOWEVER, once she agreed to no contact, her remorse was immediate. She had fits and starts, and still had some raging days of entitlement, and her withdrawal took 2-3 weeks, but we had an absolute no-contact/transparency plan in place IMMEDIATELY after she asked me to take her back.
I do think it is important to remember though that every situation is different and each of us found DB at different times of the journey. We are all just hoping for the same result.
